This new light-filled, solar & wind powered house with open plan living area offers spectacular ever-changing views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres.

Large living and eating area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck with views to the garden beyond or the stars above. Enjoy the hot water outdoor shower under the sun or the stars. Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna through the floor to ceiling picture window. Please note: There is no air-conditioning in the house, though there are ceiling fans and other fans. A short drive to Morgans Beach, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches or 20min drive to Normanville with beach, supermarket, etc. Experience the scenic walk (or the 4WD road) to the surf and popular fishing spot at Blowhole Beach. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga and Parsons Beaches along Range Rd to Victor Harbor. Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree (Xanthorrhoea sp.) growing near the carpark! Please note: We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water in it, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times. Local wine from Carricklinga Creek Winery available for sale at the house.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed. There is also a daybed in the main bedroom. The lounge is long wide and very comfortable.
