Situated in scenic Lower Portland overlooking the Hawkesbury River, Ferndale offers accommodation in a/c well appointed one and two bedroom cabins with magnificent views, just 1½ hours drive from Sydney.

Ferndale Country Retreat offers delightful accommodation, magnificent views and a range of recreational facilities in a delightul bush setting overlooking the Hawkesbury River. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere in one or two bedroom cabins all with spectacular river or bush views. The cabins are surrounded by an abundance of flowering native plants which attract a wide variety of birds. All cabins have their own bathrooms reverse cycle a/c, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is included in the tariff or you can opt for Dinner Bed & Breakfast or all meals including lunch. On site we have a swimming pool tennis court, games room with billiards, table tennis and darts, and bicycles. For those wishing to explore the area we can pack a picnic lunch for your enjoyment. As we are not licensed you are welcome to BYO. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area including golf, river cruises and wine tasting - all within an easy drive from Ferndale.
