Kangaroos in the Top Paddock offers beauty, comfort and tranquillity in natural surroundings in the northern Grampians. Named after a mob of local kangaroos that appear each day at dawn and dusk, the 22 acre property is a perfect retreat for busy adults. Kangaroos in the Top Paddock sleeps up to 4 people comfortably – 2 couples or 1 couple and 2 singles. The cottage has two bedrooms, each with full en-suite bathrooms, heating and mountain views. Top Paddock is made from materials sourced from the site or recycled from past lives in other buildings. Cool in summer and warm in winter, energy efficient and ecologically sound, the cottage has a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with dining areas inside and outside, on the sunny front terrace or around the barbecue in the rear protected courtyard that features a rock garden, herbs, feature walls, citrus trees and lanterns.
