Red Rooster Host Farm is a peaceful, tranquil place. Situated at the end of a quiet, country road set in beautiful park like grounds with majestic century old tree's, the garden has a English feel with thousands of naturalised daffodils, blue bells, and foxgloves blooming in spring and early summer. Children will enjoy the freedom of the open lawn spaces to play and explore. . Our friendly, playful dogs Joey & Benny will keep you busy with a game of fetch, eggs to collect from the chooks daily, cute bunnies to pat, and feeding the small flock of black sheep is always a treat. Red Rooster Host Farm is surrounded by vast acres of forest, with many quiet areas for a bush walk,or run. Explore the delights of a near by rain forest, complete with giant Tassie tree's & ferns, creek with mountain fresh water. Guests are welcome to any produce in our organic vegie garden, when in season. At night the place comes alive with visiting wallabies, & other wildlife critters, feeding on the lawns surrounding your cottage. Accommodation is a comfortable, self contained cottage with simplicity & country charm, most suited for a couple, or small families, warmed by a cosy combustion fire with plenty of fire wood supplied. The guest cottage is next to our home, with own private entry, we are close by if needed, otherwise your privacy is respected. Kitchenette with cooking facilities, flat screen TV & DVDs.s. Two adjoining bedrooms, room 1 has queen bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed & a single bed, with feather doonas & quality linen, electric blankets. Delightful bathroom with antique claw-foot bath, large shower over bath. Sunroom, entry has nice views of the garden, great spot to relax with a glass of local wine & platter of goats cheese. Great place for people looking for a quiet, retreat getaway. Awake to the sound of birdsong, a delightful way to start your day ! Fresh free range eggs home baked bread & jam, cereals, milk tea & coffee are supplied in tariff.

We offer our guests a spacious, comfortable, warm two adjoining bedroom apartment with a Queen bed in bedroom 1 and a double bed & single bed in bedroom 2, sleeps up to 5 persons, cot available on request. All linen,bedding,towels are supplied.
